About

Eonsgrove is a grid-based roguelike deckbuilder where you play as a young mage trying to escape a haunted forest, before getting turned into one of its mysterious inhabitants. 

This isn't about combat.

Your magic, represented by your deck of cards, only allows you to manipulate your enemies and the environment enough to give you time to escape each level through a magic portal. 

Use your energy sparingly, as it will be required both to use cards and to move on the game board.

Move fast, or embrace the change. 

The more you get attacked, the more you start to turn into one of them. 

This will be reflected by your cards, with special cursed cards gaining new and chaotic effects the lower your life is. 

Improve your strategy.

Each time you complete a level, you will be given the option to improve your deck of cards and to obtain a unique bonus that will help you complete the later stages.

Disclaimer

This game is a solo project and a prototype made in a couple of weeks as part of a "One Game per Month" challenge. This is not intended to ever be released as a finished product, but any and all feedback is more than welcome. 

You can still play this game from start to end and discover over 30 unique cards, nearly 20 different relics, 7 enemy types and more than 100 lines of silly dialogue that may or may not hide a secret ending.
